Aspiring interplanetary traveller Steven Hawking decided to keep his latest vacation terrestrial, visiting Easter Island, which is pretty much the only Chilean imperialist venture ever. Said Hawking's Chilean host for the visit, Dr. Claudio Bunster,
"Stephen has always been fearless, both intellectually and physically."Fearless is right. I would hate to get up close to those statues, because, man, they're an unsolved mystery. Who wants to have a one-on-one with a stone guardian of an uninhabited isle? You're on your own, Hawking.
